For those following my blog, you may have noticed that while I love shooting digital, I also love using instant film. This is a 4×5 negative from Fuji FP-100c instant film, soaked overnight before bleaching to recover the negative. I think this technique is going to work much better than my prior attempts, although the negative is still quite low contrast. Image is color reversed to positive in scanning software, otherwise untouched. We’ll see what happens in the future when I soak fresh negatives. Next post shows what you can do with a negative like this. BlueRiverDream on instant film. Copyright 2014, William Lawrence.
